Experience:

• 3 to 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Masters

• Master`s in any discipline from reputed university with no third division in academic records.

• Professional degree and certification related to Islamic Banking will be given preference.

• Minimum 07 (Seven) years of working experience in commercial Bank/ NBFI with at least 3 years’ experience in Shahriah based Islamic Bank or Islamic Banking Division/Branch/Window of conventional bank.

• Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

• Sound knowledge in Shariah Laws, Islamic investment risk and compliance management.

• Experience in coordination with the Shariah Supervisory committee.

• Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.

• Good communication skill in English.

• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise overall activities of Islamic Banking Division.

• Plan and formulate strategies to achieve business goals of Islamic Banking Division.

• Ensure optimization of business of Islamic Banking Windows.

• Conduct market survey of the Shariah based banking products, redesign new products and develop the existing products to penetrate the market.

• Monitor and ensure all compliance related to issues of Islamic Banking as per Bangladesh Bank guidelines.

• Maintain liaison with Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank to run business and operations smoothly.

• Ensure delivery of annual business and financial goals and targets for Branches/Islamic Windows.

• Guide the Branches/Islamic Windows and make sure that they have achieved their respective business targets.

• Extend support to business units, CRM, CAD and other related divisions/departments to enhance the business of Islamic Banking.

• Enhance the capabilities of existing employees by providing training on various aspects of Shariah-compliant banking.

• Job Grade: First Assistant Vice President to Senior Vice President
