Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead the HR & Compliance department of the factory and ensure all activities run according to company policy and legal requirements.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the factory’s operational needs.

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, manpower planning, and ensure proper documentation of all employee records.

  • Ensure accurate attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and maintain coordination with Head Office HR team.

  • Oversee performance evaluation process and support employee development and training initiatives.

  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance management, and disciplinary issues in line with labor laws.

  • Build and maintain a healthy, safe, and legally compliant workplace for all employees.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, BEPZA regulations, and buyer audit requirements (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, etc.).

  • Prepare and face internal and external audits, ensure all corrective actions are implemented properly.

  • Maintain all legal and buyer-required documents, licenses, certificates, and factory compliance records up to date.

  • Monitor workplace safety, hygiene, security, and ensure fire safety standards are followed strictly.

  • Conduct regular awareness training for workers and staff on compliance, labor rights, safety, and factory rules.

  • Work closely with government bodies (DIFE, Fire Service, BEPZA, etc.) and buyers’ compliance teams.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement across all factory units.

  • Liaise regularly with BEPZA authorities, DIFE, Fire Service, and buyer representatives for inspections, reports, and approvals.

  • Ensure strict adherence to working hours, wage structure, overtime policy, and welfare benefits as per EPZ regulations.
