Educational Requirements:
∎ MBM/Master's in Business, Economics, Statistics or relevant subjects from leading Business School/University with no Third Division in academic records. MS in Agri Economics or relevant field from any reputed Agricultural University will get preference.

∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement various agricultural and rural credit policies and programs of different regulatory bodies to ensure adequate flow of funds to the agricultural and rural economy in a proper, timely and hassle-free way for the benefit of the farmers.
∎ Design, plan and formulate strategies to reach business goals of agricultural & rural financing. Increase agricultural productivity and ensure the food security of the people by financing agricultural loans.
∎ Lead, motivate, and continuously develop a credible high performing Agricultural & Rural Finance Team, and ensure effective coordination with the branches and divisions to increase Agri/rural client base.
∎ Promote sustainable and equitable Agri /rural development through effective credit support to the ultimate beneficiaries through its rural branches as well as Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs) linkages.
∎ Set up a target for disbursing agricultural and rural credit considering the demand of agricultural and rural credit at field level.
∎ Strengthening credit disbursement through own branches & sub-branches, monitor & recovery of agricultural credit, allocate agricultural credit among sub-categories as per regulatory guideline.
∎ Identify & fix sector wise agricultural & rural credit disbursement target with discussion to all branches.
∎ Disburse loans in favor of actual farmers and contacting the offices of district and upazila level agriculture officers, livestock officers and fisheries officers if necessary for selection of farmers.
∎ Maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units of the Bank.
∎ Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements per authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8-12 years working experience in leading Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs) /Commercial Banks with 4 years of working experience in agricultural finance and rural development programs.
∎ Candidates with direct experience in developing and implementing defined business plan including development of distribution outlet, launch of product and services, end to end business model in the field of agriculture and rural development will be preferred.
∎ Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.
∎ Good communication skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Very good skills in MS Office.
