Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent must be a Fellow Chartered Accountant. (FCA) with master's degree in accounting/Finance from a reputed university/institution.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ REPORTING TO: For Chittagong, the incumbent will directly report to the Snr. Director Finance and for Dhaka, the reporting line will be the Advisor-Finance & Operations. Parallelly, the incumbents will report to the Group Chairman and the Board of Directors
∎ The incumbents will supervise the subordinate staff that may include , Senior Managers/Managers/ Senior Officers / Officers of Accounts & Finance Dept.
∎ DEPARTMENT: Accounts & Finance

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regularly assess organizational performance against the agreed e annual budget the company's long-term strategy for business growth.
∎ Develop business plans, budget (including multi-year planning and budget), cash forecasting, fund flow analysis and compare the actual achievements/results with the plan and budget and report to the senior management on monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and annually.
∎ Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Board and management to design and make effective actionable and implementable decision.
∎ Lead to develop long-term budgetary planning and efficient costs management strategy in line with company's strategic plan.
∎ Development short-term and long-term strategies for managing liquidity including financial reengineering, debt facilities/servicing, assist to new approach/products launch etc. as key inputs.
∎ Build and lead a team of accounting/finance professionals.
∎ Represent the company to business/financial partners, including financial institutions, NFI, investors auditors, Tax authority, etc.
∎ Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast and compare them with the actual achievements for management information and decision making.
∎ Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives (new business expansion, new product launches)
∎ Prepare ad- hoc analysis as required by the Chairman and the Board
∎ Ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems, records, and documents.
∎ Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
∎ Develop need based polices/SOPs, etc.
∎ Ensure timeliness, accuracy, usefulness of financial, and management information; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial documents.
∎ Handle proper filing of tax returns on time.
∎ Ensure legal and regulatory compliances regarding all financial functions.
∎ Lead preparation of month-end, quarter and year-end financial reports/documents.
∎ Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, financial statements preparation and corporate/overhead cost allocation/transfer pricing, etc..
∎ Improve and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control system
∎ Improving Organizational Overhead Costs efficiency in line with peer industry practices.
∎ Achieving best financing in place with attractive Rates & terms for existing and new Business Ventures.
∎ Practicing to date business law and taxation, coordinating legal advice, ensuring compliance with relevant Govt. statutory bodies.
∎ Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, evaluate, and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
∎ Accounting management control, reporting, ensuring the reliability of company accounts, overseeing the consolidation of financial data, drafting the company's business plan and budget.
∎ Adopt and implement Professional qualities to encourage ethical behavior and decision making throughout the organization to ensure sustainable financial value creation.
∎ Manage organizational cash flow of several companies and forecasting on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ At least 10 years of overall professional experience; ideally 5+ years of broad financial and operations management experience.
∎ The ideal candidate has experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either a division or significant project area include taxation/matters in Bangladesh.
∎ Technology savvy and experience with Tally/QuickBooks/ERP is mandatory.
∎ A successful record of accomplishment in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
∎ Excellent communications and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
∎ Advanced knowledge on international financial reporting standards (IFRS)..
∎ Good understanding of business operation and processes.
∎ Knowledge of current world financial and economic trends.
∎ Good communication and coordination ability, coordinate, and communicate with various departments.
∎ Active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills,
∎ Excellent commend in writing and speaking in English is mandatory.
∎ Experience of working in ERP environment.
