Job Context:
∎ The candidate will be monitoring the growth of children under 5 years to ensure early intervention for growth faltering to reduce malnutrition, morbidity and mortality.
∎
∎ Duty Station: Ukhiya (Kutupalong Refugee Camp- Camp 3)
∎ Report To: Nutrition site supervisor
∎ Expected Start Date: 1st April 2022
∎ Contract length: 31st December 2022 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the guidance of the Nutrition site supervisor, the Growth Monitor and Promoter will be responsible for-
∎
∎ Ensuring that weighing is done accurately.
∎ Plotting and interpreting the growth curve on a growth chart.
∎ Discussing options with the caregivers and agreeing on effective and future action.
∎ Evaluating the child's response during the subsequent visits.
∎ To provide tailored counselling (such as appropriate feeding) for faltering growth to improve maternal knowledge and practices.
∎ Combine growth monitoring with other health intervention channels such as immunization for the convenience of caregivers and ensure consistent message delivery.
∎ Participate in cooking demonstration sessions.
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one Gross salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly Gross salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary
