Job Responsibilities:
∎ To evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, and make recommendations for changes and implement procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions
∎ To maintain liaison with the Businesses in connection with matters related to changes in policy, procedure, system and method of Accounting, Finance and General Business Processing of the Group
∎ To supervise Financial Reporting & Budgeting Process and coordinate preparation of Annual Report of the Group
∎ To ensure external reporting of all business units including consolidation in compliance with IASs, IFRSs and other related laws and regulations
∎ Managing all concerns corporate month-end accounting process
∎ Preparation of the monthly management reports
∎ Preparation of the Group's consolidated financial statements
∎ To devise, maintain and monitor Taxation (Direct & Indirect) planning & management and overall compliance by the Group
∎ To coordinate the work related to capital rising through various modes like IPO, Rights Issue, Bond Issue etc. from capital markets;
∎ To facilitate financial, analytical or statistical reports for use by the Management as and when required;
∎ Providing strategic recommendations to the management team
∎ Analyze business risks and devise strategies with key stakeholders in managing those risks
∎ Advising on long-term business and financial planning
∎ Perform all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
∎ Analyze financial statements to foresee trends of financial performance and advice course correction.
∎ Oversee and validate appropriate calculation & on time submission of Tax, VAT & regulatory charges and ensure statutory reporting are done on time
∎ Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all management reporting
∎ Prepare capital budget for the year and review with Management
∎ Own and ensure budgets are met in revenues and expenses on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
∎ Prepare and review a robust cash flow projection.
∎ Work with bankers and financial institutions to ensure timely repayment of loans, ensure de-securitization of properties at the right time
∎ Manage optimal cash flow to ensure the minimum float
∎ Develop an excellent cash management process so as to effectively utilize the cash.
∎ Review & validate SOPs, policies and processes to ensure compliance
∎ Train and coach collaborators on company policies, SOPs and norms on finance
∎ Design and implement DoA and FDoA. Document each DoA
∎ Maintaining good relations with relevant authorities like Auditors, Banks, NBR, Vat authority, BIDA etc.
