∎ There is a vacancy for the following regular position based at LAMB Head Office, Dinajpur:
∎ Job Summary: This position contributes to the sustainability of LAMB and is responsible for writing polished proposals to earn grant money. His/her duties include researching opportunities, knowing & maintaining deadlines, & drafting grant requests for approval.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization.
∎ Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies, foundations, corporations, and individuals.
∎ Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
∎ Assist in ensuring the accuracy of all LAMB funding proposals (with full responsibility of the Director of the respective department/ program) through an integrated process including all necessary stakeholders, ensuring high quality standards in alignment with organizational and donor requirements.
∎ Ensure grant writing/proposals focus on agreed upon approved strategies and through established processes, including the ‘life cycle of a grant’ document.
∎ Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.
∎ Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
∎ Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
∎ Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
∎ Maintain the confidentiality of proposal related information and the compliance of all funder guidelines in grant submission and reporting.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ demonstrated success in grantsmanship.
∎ Ability to work both independently without close oversight, but also a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of LAMB.
∎ Highly energetic & passion for LAMB mission.
∎ Ability to take initiative, and to manage multiple tasks and projects at a time. Training on grant writing & proposal development required.
∎ Conversational English with basic reading and proficient writing skills required.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 55000 - 70000 (Monthly)
∎ Depending as per experience and competencies.
