Educational Requirements:
∎ Undergraduate /Master’s degree of any subject.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and implement the culture of "Quality at the Needle point".
∎ Work to ensure optimized efficiency as defined & set by IE with correspondence from top Management by identifying cost reduction opportunities through Integrated Planning information support and analysis.
∎ Able to manage the defined per-production T&A to mitigate loss time in style changes and reduce style change over time, to deliver on time, Cut/Ship ratio & Wastage Management, daily production CM & Key Performance Indicators and implement Price-control policy in every stage of production, so that production cost is reduced.
∎ Maintain stock of raw materials & packing materials, etc. for running production and ensure supply for the following day's production.
∎ Control and Co-ordinate activities of sectioning-charge, shift in-charge, supervisors and the day-to-day operations of the production department.
∎ Responsible to start and manage a training line to increase the number of multiple skill operators in order to increase the production capability by following modern production procedure.
∎ Monitor and control the orders to attain acceptable production limit and to ensure the implementation of the production schedule
∎ Take necessary corrective measures if there is any problem of quality so, that garments can be made exportable.
∎ Responsible for the shipment of goods on time by managing the goods and process from store to the packing department.
∎ Ensure that employee disciplining, health and safety is effectively administered and that employee grievances are addressed in a timely & proper manner.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years as a “GM-Production & Technical” at a Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Good communications skills in English & Bengali.
∎ Good interpersonal skills and be able to maintain an effective & satisfactory working relationship with staff of all levels.
∎ Good computer skills.
∎ Ability to work with cross functional departments such as Product development, Technical, Marketing, Merchandising, Quality, IE, Maintenance, and HR to ensure the production is not been hampered due to any elements.
∎ Knowledge of current Labour, Human Rights and RMG guidelines.
∎ Must be able to analyze the input received, capacity of operation and identify & remove constraints to make optimistic use of man, machines and materials.
