Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Must have in-depth knowledge and practical experience on Production Management
∎ • Will be fully responsible for effective production planning and efficient implementation.
∎ • Assist in preparing daily/monthly production planning.
∎ • Daily planning for Cutting, Embossing, Sewing, PU, Packing, Sole make & colour and Delivery.
∎ • Must have sufficient knowledge in production on SOP basis.
∎ • Must have sufficient experience in maintaining Inventory and Production Software.
∎ • Guide in making Bill of Materials (BOM) and respective monthly requisitions of Raw Materials for Local Purchase (Raw Materials, Electrical, Maintenance and others) and import materials in alignment with Supply Chain on the basis of monthly production Projection.
∎ • Provide daily Production Report to Managing Director.
∎ • Assist in planning and preparing projection of production on 15 days/monthly on basis of forecasted sales of articles.
∎ • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
∎ • Forecast supply and demand of raw materials.
∎ • Oversee distribution of supplies in the factory and report if any damages/less/any problems.
∎ • Ensure the accurate and optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability.
∎ • Manage in making on-time delivery Report.
∎ • Manage production planning staff and scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules
∎ • Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a route cause analysis and give quick solution for a smooth operation.
∎ • Close relationship with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery of products & optimal utilization of equipment & manpower.
∎ • Reviewing production plan with capacity & strength along with ensuring timely shipment/delivery target.
∎ • Acknowledgment of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the Management and to give necessary directives to the Production Manager of the unit regarding the production plan.
∎ • Having clear idea about the quality of footwear and to guide his subordinates to take necessary corrective measures if there is any problem of quality so that footwear can be made exportable stage.
∎ • Manage and direct activities congenial to productivity ensuring optimum utilization of man, machine & material to yield higher productivity.
∎ • Analyze, control and reduce cost and wastage in an effective and efficient manner.
∎ • Monitor operational performance and improve existing performance through process and technology improvement.
∎ • Ensure product design and development and related R&D activities as per the customer/company requirements.
∎ • Lead and oversee all the departments functional in the factory.
∎ • Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
