Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile engineering, IE or Diploma in Textile engineering or other related field.
∎ Background in O & A level is also highly preferred.
∎ Skills Required: Able to work under pressure, All kinds of Garments (KnitWovenSweater), Analytical, Fabrics
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garment Technology, Garments Textile, Knit garments, Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments, Group of Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing new market, potential customers and new orders through promoting organization strength and maintaining continuous customer relation and communication.
∎ Overall orders follow up and manage team members to meet ultimate business and performance goal. Regular Interacting with the buyers directly for any clarifications, managing all samples & getting all required approvals within the target dates
∎ Able to handle several numbers of orders/styles at a time independently.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Must have the ability to work under pressure to maintain buyer's dead line for both samples & production.
∎ Must have the ability to manage all team to be on time for sample & production
∎ Possess high degree of correspondence & analytical ability.
∎ Should have sound knowledge of products, fabrics, accessories, trims, etc
∎ Ensure sample and bulk shipment as per customer's requirement.
∎ Garments costing, payment condition, Mode of shipment, any others terms and condition and order confirm with customer.
∎ Price confirms and order placing in factory.
∎ Coordination and follow up with QC department, commercial department, garments factory, accessories factory etc. and other relevant entity to ensure smooth production, shipment and payment.
∎ Motivate, develop and inspire the team members to be customer focused and perform according to expected level.
∎ To attend customer meeting locally or in abroad and ensure orders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years’ practical experience as a Manager Merchandising in 100% Export Oriented knit Composite Garments Industry.
∎ Strong Computer skills. (Ms. Excel, Ms. Word, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator CS, and good command in Mailing).
∎ Self-motivated, Self-organized, and Responsible.
∎ Good command over English (Spoken and Written).
∎ Negotiation skill and Market Information.
∎ Good Communication and Presentation Skills.
∎ Must have Vast Knowledge about Knit Garments Merchandising.
∎ Must have experience to handle buyer/ buying house independently
∎ Must have good skill of mail corresponding directly.
∎ Must have good knowledge in price quotation and product development.
Salary: Negotiable
