Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ MBA from relevant field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Control, manage, and optimize the overall operations of the factory for smooth & efficient productivity.
∎ Plan & lead the production lines and ensure that buyer quality is maintained and adhered to at all times.
∎ Ensure Timely Shipments.
∎ Monitor updated information on technical operations and cost parameters at every stage of the production process.
∎ Must be able to do machine layout, time & motion study, etc.
∎ Must analyze and assess product risks, critical operations, quality issues in advance before line feeding.
∎ Monitor all customs related work like dyes & chemicals entitlement, Renewal of Licenses, Yearly Import & Export audit.
∎ Follow-up timely submission of cash incentive (regular & special) documents to bank.
∎ Monitor with bank for further activities like obtaining certificate from audit firm, claim to Bangladesh Bank & persuasion with them to release fund.
∎ Monitor the payments of clearing & forwarding agent, transport agencies, insurance companies, other suppliers of different items, including all debit and credit notes of different Buyers and Suppliers.
∎ Develop, sets policies and makes decisions guiding productivity, quality, and cost efficiency of factory.
∎ Sets and establishes systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and work with IE & Management in setting performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals.
∎ Head the development and deployment of production practices focused on quality and continuous improvement.
∎ Monitor and ensures strong factory safety and security procedures & protocol.
∎ Ensure that operations are in compliance with all required Govt. and RMG Regulations.
∎ Solves and mitigates any labor relation activities involving the factory.
∎ Oversees and controls all department including Accounts & Finance, IE, QA/QC, HR, Production to Finishing to ensure alignment with company Vision & Mission.
∎ Makes functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function of the departments and develop budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure of the factory with Top Management approval.
∎ Any other task assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years as a “GM-Factory “of a Knit Garments factory.
∎ Good communication skill in English and Bengali.
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage a team.
∎ Good computer skills.
∎ Knowledge of the entire Garments processing system from Cutting to Finishing.
∎ Excellent knowledge of current Labour, Human Rights and RMG guidelines.
∎ Knowledge of Accounting, Financial and Banking guidelines.
∎ Must be flexible, willing to work under pressure and capable of meeting deadlines.
