Minimum 15 years of experience in HR & Administration, with at least 5 years in a Senior Leadership position (DGM/GM) preferably in the garments or textile industry.



Responsibilities & Context:

A. Administrative functions:

1.      Managing HR & Admin functions for the group with around 12000 employees. Strong understanding of HR practice laws compliance of wage management requirements policy and practices factory management and disciplines procedures.

2.      Proven ability to lead and manage large HR teams and decision making skills.

3.      Must be honest, disciplined and committed to ethical practices. Should have leadership quality, integrity and a strong track record of improvement, confidentiality and ensure compliance.

4.      Strong track record of maintaining confidentiality and ensure compliance.

5.      Contribute and assist in formulating required policies and procedures regarding administrative functions. Execute and supervise security of company properties and required renovation & construction. Execute safety & security issues in building structure, access control, health & hygiene, production activities etc. Monitor, control and ensure timely maintenance and safe & logical utilization of property.

  1. Assist to timely renewal of license, contract, permission, certificate etc. Assist and manage necessary procurement as per approved policy.

  2. Make available all policies at factory for ready reference and execute all necessary tasks as per procedures and authorities. Assist the management to deal with different committees regarding congenial work environment.

  3. Assist the concern section/department to ensure required compliance issues are in practice. Manage all installation, fixing, provisioning work in factory. Produce and preserve necessary reports, records and documents in systematic manner.

B. Human Resource Management Functions

  1. Contributes in designing and formulating required policy and SOP. Assist necessary recruitment and selection process in time as per approved HR policy. Experience in high volume recruitment & talent acquisition activities aligned with operation and needs. Assist the top management in HR planning, job analysis and preparing job descriptions.

  2. Monitor and maintains attendance, overtime, personal leave etc. Update monthly manpower inventory and ensure all recruitment and selection, placement, promotion, transfer or separation is made timely as per policy/instruction.

  3. Conduct performance appraisal of all employees of the factory in time. Conduct systematic disciplinary procedure and resolve relevant problem as per policy. Address all grievances and disciplinary action in time with proper documentation. Systematic procedures with proper documentation. Identify training needs, arrange and conduct required training and induction to develop the employees.

  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Bangla & English. Experience in ERP system will be given advantage.

5.      To maintain proper communication and coordination with different Section/Department. Ensure standard documentation of all personal files, maintained and updated time to time. Process and preserve relevant data, records, and reports in proper manner.
