Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated GIS & UAV Mapping Officer to conduct drone surveys, aerial image acquisition, image processing, GIS analysis, and map preparation. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and executing UAV missions, processing geospatial data, and producing high-quality maps and reports for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct UAV/drone flights in compliance with aviation regulations.
Capture high-quality aerial imagery and geospatial data using UAV systems.
Perform GIS data analysis and spatial database management.
Prepare thematic maps, survey maps, and project reports.
Conduct field surveys using GPS/GNSS equipment.
Ensure quality control of UAV and GIS datasets.
Maintain UAV equipment, batteries, and accessories.
Coordinate with project teams and clients regarding survey requirements.
Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables.
Process drone imagery using photogrammetry software to generate:
Orthomosaic maps
Digital Surface Models (DSM)
Digital Terrain Models (DTM)
Point Clouds
3D Models
