Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field. Professional training/certification in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS or similar software) is preferred

Strong proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and mapping tools. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GPS/survey data handling. Understanding of land records, mapping standards, and spatial data systems. Experience in official correspondence and dealing with authorities. Good communication and presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving ability, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare and update GIS maps, layouts, and spatial databases for township and land projects
Digitize maps, satellite imagery, and survey data using GIS software
Analyze spatial data to support planning, land use, and project development
Integrate GIS data with AutoCAD drawings and survey information
Maintain accurate and up-to-date GIS records and documentation
Support preparation of master plans, plot layouts, and land development maps
Maintain professional correspondence with relevant authorities regarding GIS data and project requirements
Assist in the submission of GIS-related documents for approvals and compliance
Conduct field data collection and verification when required
Prepare reports, maps, and presentations for management and stakeholders
Ensure data quality, consistency, and proper archiving of GIS files
