Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Take full command of the entire QA/QC department, setting and enforcing rigorous quality benchmarks across all stages of production.
∎ Establish a zero-tolerance quality culture—no compromise on defects, reworks, or buyer dissatisfaction.
∎ Lead critical quality audits, root cause analysis, and aggressive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.
∎ Ensure 100% compliance with international standards (AQL, ISO, OEKO-TEX, etc.) and individual buyer specifications.
∎ Directly liaise with high-profile international clients (AU, EU, USA) to resolve claims and maintain superior buyer ratings.
∎ Set up and monitor data-driven performance KPIs for all quality team members, holding them accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
∎ Oversee inline, midline, and final inspections with a strong eye for detail and consistency.
∎ Design and implement rigorous training programs to elevate the technical competency of the QA/QC workforce.
∎ Challenge outdated practices by introducing lean, efficient, and transparent quality systems that reduce wastage and increase productivity.
∎ Enforce robust documentation and reporting to ensure traceability and quick decision-making in high-pressure situations.
∎ Collaborate aggressively with production and merchandising teams to ensure product readiness and shipment quality without delays or excuses.
∎ Job Context: Sam Ree Dyeing (Bd.) Ltd., a reputed textile manufacturing company, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced General Manager (Quality). This position requires dynamic leadership, an expert understanding of textile production quality control, and the ability to develop and lead a performance-driven QA/QC team.
