• Must be strongly experienced in denim garments with brands like Target, Gap, Inditex, Walmart, Next, H&M, Americal Eagle, etc.

• Should be efficient in utilizing manpower to achieve the hourly/daily production target.

• Should have knowledge on modern garments machinery & automation.

• Should have sound knowledge on labor laws, social compliance and housekeeping.

• Must have good command in English Communication and be able to lead team members and floor people.

• Must be practical, empathetic and Solution-centric.

• Have good knowledge of production planning, rejection control, OQL/AQL and Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities & Context:

We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Denim Top-Bottom Garments Manufacturing Company, looking for a talented candidate for the post of "General Manager - Production (Denim)". Both local and expatriate candidates can apply for this position. The incumbent must have the initiative, experience, and the drive to deliver high-quality results.

• Achieve daily production target with buyer given standard, while directing and coordinating with cutting, sewing and finishing operations in accordance with planned production schedule.

• Formulate work schedules for the production team and communicate expected deliverables to achieve the production targets and objectives.

• Ensure efficient utilization of resources i.e. materials, labor, machines, and equipment to meet production targets and objectives.

• Work for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction, while also leading all production staff from the front and having good command on them.

• Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, production process management while maintaining production schedule to adhere to shipment timelines.

• Track the defined KPIs to have complete view of the production activities and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure adherence to the plan.

• Resolve production operational issues by providing technical expertise and insights to the team.

• Ensure final product is in adherence to buyer requirements and specification.

• Drive and implement inventory control and cost-saving initiatives within the department to achieve overall cost-saving target for the organization.

• Identify development opportunities (skill development and technical trainings) for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the production staff to improve the overall production standards.

• Submit reports of production cost, maintenance, consumption, monthly stock, people, quality and safety to management for their effective decision making.

• Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of production wastages like rejection, alteration, over-cutting, over-production, and extra hour work.

• Focus on at least 3% excess shipment for every big order and to always take required measures to achieve this target.

• Any other job assigned by the concerned authority.
