Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
∎ A relevant professional qualification certificate will be given an advantage.

∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform, supervise, monitor purchasing goods, services, construction work and materials as per FRIENDSHIP Procurement policy and procedures.
∎ Planning and analyzing Procurement activities and aspects.
∎ Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders or sectors/CSUs
∎ Recognize the needs of the project goods and services.
∎ Make and analyze project procurement plan and supply plan.
∎ Implement procurement strategies to obtain optimum value for money.
∎ Perform all procurement and contracting activities, including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts.
∎ Pursue tender process by soliciting, receiving, and analyzing proposals, quotations, and tender submissions and recommend selection of suppliers in accordance with the policies and legal compliance.
∎ Assist to implement changes and develop new processes to procure goods and services better.
∎ Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain the best price and service. Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
∎ Participating in implementing cost-effective initiatives, procurement strategies, and cost-optimization of quality and service delivery.
∎ Assist in troubleshooting any existing problems with vendor products and services.
∎ Assist in managing procurement data and report generation monthly and ad hoc basis.
∎ Liaise with Central Services Units and Sectors and address their day-to-day procurement issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 44 years
∎ Analytical Skills
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
∎ Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
∎ Knowledge of Public Procurement Rules, UN Agencies' procurement principles, and procedures.
∎ Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
∎ Minimum ten years of experience in the related field, including INGO and any INGO/UN Agency.
∎ Experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
