Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and lead the overall marketing, merchandising and business development strategy.
∎ To develop buyer, order procurement, correspondence, liaison and communicate with the buyers regarding capacity booking, order taking and remain proactive at an order crisis moment.
∎ To oversee costing and pricing of the garments and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Determine appropriate price quotations to ensure sales order and maintain profitability.
∎ Executions of orders according to planned time and action plan on regular basis to ensure the shipment with right quality and right quantity.
∎ To ensure end to end product life-cycle right from conceptualisation, design and manufacturing to delivery.
∎ Create newness and fresh ideas constantly to meet season/fashion trend and market requirements.
∎ Oversee the design & development team to make them competent as per fashion trend.
∎ Playing a significant role in long-term planning, including operational excellence.
∎ Identifying potential delay causing situations that will lead to challenges in meeting basic KPI's; On-time delivery, order fulfillment, adherence to AQL and monitor overall merchandising team KPI.
∎ Any other task as assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Competent in garment fabrics, yarn, trims and accessories.
∎ Ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
∎ Creative and strong understanding of garments products.
∎ Competent in handling multiple accounts and variety of products in garments business.
∎ Strong hand on Supply Chain/Backward linkage management.
