Job Responsibilities:

Plan's commitment to gender equality is based on the international standards established by the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
∎ In view of the above the Gender Specialist will be responsible to steer the promotion of Gender Equality and Inclusion in the organization including through 100% programmes being gender aware and inclusive, a strong gender and vulnerabilities analysis underpinning all projects, the gender lens being incorporated in advocacy initiatives, and to facilitate that 100% programmes will be gender transformative by 2022.

Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a passionate team member who is capable of developing and implementing gender transformative programs especially using gender mainstreaming tools across project cycles. 3 - 7 years' Experience in working on gender equality, women's rights, child-youth rights related projects in National and /or International Organizatios. Knowledge and experience on development and management on women's' and girls' empowerment is mandatory. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement gender transformative programs especially using gender mainstreaming tools across project cycles.

Salary:
∎ BDT. 120,000.00 - 130,000.00 (Monthly CTC) along with other benefits i.e., Life insurance and hospitalization benefit and leave.
