∎ We are currently seeking a skilled Garment Fit Technician to join our team in our Bangladesh factory. The Garment Fit Technician will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that all garments meet our stringent quality and fit standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze garment fit and construction and provide actionable feedback to the production team, ensuring optimal fit, quality, and performance of the product.
∎ Utilize technical expertise to guide and make adjustments to patterns based on fit, trend, and customer requirements.
∎ Prepare and lead fit sessions, document all necessary changes and communicate effectively to all relevant departments.
∎ Collaborate closely with designers, pattern makers, and merchandisers to understand design concepts and provide recommendations to ensure the feasibility of designs and production.
∎ Develop technical specifications including measurements, construction details, and materials to support the fit and construction of the garment.
∎ Monitor and validate production samples to ensure they meet the approved fit, measurement, and construction details.
∎ Identify and solve potential production challenges or problems related to fit and construction.
∎ Maintain records of fit samples, specifications, and alterations to keep track of changes and improvements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, draping, and grading.
∎ Exceptional technical knowledge in fit analysis and the ability to adjust patterns.
∎ Strong understanding of the production process and timelines.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurement.
∎ Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team.
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
∎ Proficient in technical software such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD, and garment specification systems.
