∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field·
∎ 5+ years of hands-on experience in POS system development, integration, and maintenance
∎ Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core (mandatory)·
∎ Experience with Windows-based POS UI frameworks (WinForms, WPF, UWP)·
∎ Familiarity with .NET MAUI or Xamarin for cross-platform POS apps (optional)·
∎ Deep understanding of POS workflows: sales, returns, refunds, discounts, loyalty, and voids·
∎ Experience integrating payment gateways and EFTPOS terminals·
∎ Knowledge of PCI compliance, EMV standards, and tokenization·
∎ Hands-on hardware integration experience with receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, displays, payment terminals·
∎ Experience with Serial, USB, OPOS, ESC/POS protocols and driver management·
∎ Skilled in local data storage and sync with SQL Server or SQLite·
∎ Experience designing conflict resolution and sync-to-cloud logic·
∎ Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and excellent English communication.
∎ Experience with multi-terminal and multi-location POS architectures·
∎ Knowledge of legacy POS systems and data migration (XML/CSV)·
∎ Familiarity with payment security standards and certifications·
∎ Experience with real-time inventory and order sync·
∎ Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop, maintain, and enhance POS applications using C# and .NET·
∎ Build user-friendly, efficient front-end interfaces for POS workflows·
∎ Design and implement reliable offline-first syncing and cloud synchronization·
∎ Build or integrate admin features like user roles, shift management, cash reconciliation, and sales reporting·
∎ Ensure robust database schema design and optimize queries
∎ Manage Linux servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)·
∎ Configure web servers (Nginx, Apache) and load balancers·
∎ Implement security best practices and monitoring·
∎ Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability
∎ Integrate POS peripherals (printers, scanners, cash drawers, terminals)Integrate payment gateways and ensure secure payment processing·
∎ Manage driver dependencies and firmware updates
∎ Provide on-site or remote support for POS issues·
∎ Collaborate with retail/hospitality operators and non-technical users
