• We're looking for a skilled and independent Frontend Developer who specialises in Next.js and Tailwind CSS to join our team. You'll be working closely with our backend developer to enhance the user experience and help build a clean, modern, and responsive web application.

• Zustand or Redux (not currently implemented, optional)

• Express.js

• Requirements
• Solid experience with Next.js and React-based architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS and modern responsive design practices.
• Familiarity with API integration, especially RESTful endpoints.
• Basic understanding of SSR and how it affects performance and SEO.
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively in a remote team.
• Nice to have
• Experience working with Laravel (helpful for understanding backend structures or transitioning between stacks).
• Familiarity with Zustand or Redux for future state management needs.
• Understanding of Prisma and how data is structured on the backend.
• Experience with PostgreSQL (from a frontend perspective—e.g., understanding response formats).
• Design awareness or experience working with Figma/UX designers.
• Previous experience with dashboard-style or SaaS projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the backend developer to integrate frontend components with APIs and server-side logic.

• Build and maintain responsive, scalable, and reusable UI components using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

• Implement SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and static site generation as needed.

• Ensure a smooth user experience with fast load times and optimised frontend performance.

• Work without a full-fledged state management library initially, but be ready to implement Zustand or Redux if needed.

• Follow design guidelines and contribute to creating an intuitive and accessible UI.

• Test and debug features across modern browsers and devices.

• Write clean, maintainable code and document frontend workflows and decisions.

• Communicate progress clearly and take ownership of assigned tasks.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on UI/UX improvements.
