Job Context:
∎ Reports to: Food Security Livelihood Program Coordinator
∎ Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Implementation
∎ Play a key role in beneficiary selection: mobilization and identification of targeting committees, communication of targeting criteria to the community and committees, facilitation of the community-based targeting exercise
∎ Select the participating vendors under the supervision and lead of the FSL Program Coordinator
∎ Organize and manage the distribution (communication with beneficiaries and Vendors, identification of appropriate distribution site), coordinate the security on the day of the distribution.
∎ Supervise the distribution.
∎ Mobilize the community for communication on targeting criteria and final beneficiary list: and for any other community activity
∎ Distribute their cards to the beneficiaries
∎ Facilitate reconciliation after each distribution.
∎ Regularly monitor the e-transactions in-person at the participating vendors' shops and monitor whether all beneficiaries can access chosen goods without encountering any issue
∎ Report project progress and challenges to the FSL Program Coordinator
∎ Quality Programming

∎ Ensure consistence and coherence in use of implementation and monitoring tools under the lead of the FSL Program Coordinator
∎ Work in close collaboration with other members of the team to ensure an integrated approach and foster coordination among teams
Additional Requirements:
∎ This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to work hard and achieve results in a demanding, fast paced and often insecure environment.
∎ At least 2 years of experience in community mobilization and community-based targeting
∎ At least 1 year of solid experience and a track record of success in implementing and monitoring Voucher-based programming in different emergency settings, ideally in one of the following sectors: EFSL, WASH, Health, Education, Shelter
∎ Minimum 6 months of aid-related international NGO experience in Bangladesh
∎ Experience of working in a stressful environment with tight deadlines
∎ Good writing skills at programmatic level (assessment reports, proposals, guidance notes)
∎ Ability to show initiative, multi-task and provide consistently high-quality work
∎ Able to follow a work plan.
∎ Flexible, positive and pro-active attitude essential
∎ Good communication skills in English preferred
∎ Commitment to the aims and principles of Relief International. In particular, a good understanding of the humanitarian mandate and principles.
