Responsibilities & Context:
Core Duties
Control Traffic: Use "STOP" and "SLOW" signs or bright flags to guide cars safely past road repairs.
Guide Heavy Equipment: Signal crane operators and large trucks to park or move safely on busy work sites.
Warn Drivers: Give drivers early warnings about road dangers or workers in the area.
Protect Workers: Act as a visual guard to keep moving vehicles away from construction crews and pedestrians.
Common Skills
Clear Communication: Uses standard hand gestures and simple body movements that drivers can easily understand.
High Stamina: Can stand for long shifts outdoors in all types of weather.
Fast Reflexes: Makes quick choices to stop cars if an emergency happens on the road.
