Job Context:
∎ Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading organizations dedicated to public health research in Bangladesh. We are looking for Finance Officer
∎ Project Duration: initial contract one year.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proper maintenance of voucher, cash book, and ledger book on daily basis.
∎ Timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in line with organizational and donor requirements and deadlines
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with bank reconciliation followed to CIPRB's financial reporting format.
∎ Responsible for financial management including financial plan and budget.
∎ Provide assistance and coordination during periodic financial audits,
∎ Proper control of supporting documents for payments and financial reports.
∎ Well conversant with financial rules and regulation of CIPRB & NGO Affairs Bureau.
∎ Reported to the Manager-Finance and Administration, Dhaka office and other senior management of CIPRB in all financial information, annual budget preparation.
∎ Liaison with the bank/financial institutions/Local administration (DC/UNO)/ Civil surgeon/ UHFPO/UHO on behalf of the organization.
∎ Ensure timely preparation of the monthly financial statement and quarterly budget variance reports.
∎ Keep track of all asset and equipment movements and updates asset and equipment register
∎ Contribute to the budget planning process, recommending logistics staffing levels, providing current costs for goods, facilities, and maintenance and support services

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
∎ At least 3 years of relevant experience mid-level role i.e. leading and managing Finance operations, preferably within a NGO setting.
∎ Proven experience of managing local, national financial management.
∎ Excellent familiarity of NGOs and donor (US government, UN, INGO, Govt. institution) policies and regulations.
∎ Good understanding of GoB's relevant rules and regulations and tax systems
∎ Computer skills: MS office
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English, Bangla.
∎ Knowledge and Skill:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Purchase, E-commerce.
∎ Must possess good IT skills and be well conversant with Automated Accounting/ Finance System; Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary is Tk.45,000 (Including taxes). Other benefits as per policy of the organization
