∎ There is a vacancy for the following contractual position for the Adolescent and Community Transformation (ACT) Project funded by LAMB Health-UK as follows;
∎ Job Summary: Ensure the successful implementation of the project within the planned budget and achieve a transparent financial statement throughout financial transaction, procurement, store management, record keeping and reporting. Responsible for the budget controlling within designed proposal and provide administrative support to the supervisor for its smooth operation.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to prepare budget, revision, and fund request to the Project Manager. Before providing budget to the Project Manager it should be checked with the Finance Manager
∎ Weekly bill/voucher checking and posting in financial system
∎ Follow up the expenses of field office
∎ Random Sampling of expenses such as seminar, training workshop etc.
∎ Involvement with local procurement and linkage with LAMB purchase department
∎ Check the bill/voucher in relation with code, budget allocation and definition
∎ Keeping update the stock and assets through ensuring the asset identification and register
∎ Responsible for the closing of each month's accounts and the preparation of supporting schedules, such as Control account reconciliations, fixed assets and depreciation schedules
∎ To see specific assigned projects and prepare financial reports, budget variance analysis
∎ Work closely together with Project Manager for the process of PIP/DIP and accounts procedure
∎ Assist concerned authority to control the budget in relation with over/ under spent; produce the justification of financial variance etc.
∎ Check/ update and preserve the financial papers/ documents that are needed at Project Office level as legal support. However original documents are kept at Head office.
∎ Conduct financial accounts orientation for the project staff and local leaders
∎ Prepare monthly report and fund request, in cooperation with Project Manager
∎ Assist the internal/ external audit team at field as well as central office
∎ Work within LAMB and Donor financial procedure
∎ Attendant field or head office weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings
∎ Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all reports, vouchers, schedules, payroll sheets and stock inventories for the Project
∎ The Finance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a register of fixed assets in spreadsheet and hard copy form and supervising periodic inventories of all assets
∎ Integration of spiritual, emotional and social health
∎ Be able to explain to anyone who asks LAMB motto and logo
∎ Be example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision and value.
∎ Any other work if needed will be done in consultation with the Finance Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should have 3-5 years experiences at national/international NGO in Finance. Experience with financial accounting software. Able to use MS Word, Exel, Accounting software, able to speak and write in English. Able to drive motorcycle with full valid motorcycle driving license.
Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 35,000 -37,000 per month gross.
