Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain cash book & ledger book independently.
∎ Prepare all types of vouchers.
∎ Calculation of VAT & Tax considering the existing rules.
∎ Perform on Audit, Tax and VAT related issues.
∎ Preserve and handle the cash and bank transaction of the Regional/Project Office.
∎ Prepare daily cash denomination and bank closing statement.
∎ Prepare quarterly, monthly money requisition for Regional/Project Office.
∎ Ensure payment of approved bills.
∎ Prepare monthly Receipt and Payment Statement and other statements as required by the accounts section of NGO Forum Central Office.
∎ Assists the external auditor for conduction of audit.
∎ Assists to prepare the doners financial reports.
∎ Deposition of Tax & VAT to the Govt. Treasury.
∎ Preparing the Withholding Tax return, Organization Tax return.
∎ Preparing the Tax & VAT challans.
∎ Checking of Regional Offices/Projects bills and vouchers.
∎ Preparing of bank and advance reconciliation.
∎ Checking of Log Book of vehicles and Motor Cycles.
∎ Maintaining the general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers.
∎ Preparing of monthly staff salary and bank advice.
∎ Budget preparation and its control.
∎ Preparation of advance reconciliation.
∎ Preparing other duties relevant to the project as required.
∎ Assist with preparation of the budget & Maintain accounts files and records.
∎ Cash and bank management and communicate with NGO Affairs Bureau assignments.
∎ Preparing donors report & Assist the annual Audit.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge on Book-keeping, recording in cash book, Ledger book, preparing the financial and accounts statements and HR and Admin essentials.
∎ Qualitative data analysis and compilation skill.
∎ Accounts payable and accounts receivables
∎ Generally accepted accounting principles/ BAS/ IFRS
∎ Financial, Procurement and Audit policy & procedures
∎ Fund & Inventory Management
∎ Practical knowledge on current VAT and Tax issues
∎ Practical knowledge on preparation and submission of withholding VAT and Tax return
∎ Supervise the Tax & VAT related activities of the organisation as per rules
∎ Knowledge on VAT & Tax rebate collection, deduction, and collection of VAT and Tax return filling.
∎ Communicate with VAT & Tax authorities and consultants
∎ Pay roll and its management
∎ Practical knowledge on PF/Gratuity and Insurance fund management
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tally
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English
∎ Report Writing Ability
∎ Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
∎ Analyzing & Problem solving Skill
