Job Context:
∎ Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading organizations dedicated to public health research in Bangladesh. The centre is now looking for qualified persons to fulfil the following vacant position immediately for the end-line evaluation survey of the comprehensive drowning prevention programme (BHASA Project) in Barishal Division.
∎ Job Nature: Contractual (3 Months)
∎ Location: Barishal Division.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist supervision of the survey and taking necessary actions to enhance the accuracy of data collected including randomly back & cross check 2% data at households (HHs) level
∎ Review of all completed questionnaires to ensure clarity and accuracy
∎ Manage data collection schedule as per targets set by the senior management of BHASA Project
∎ Organizing an evening or morning "wrap up" session with the team members to discuss any problems that have arisen during data collection
∎ Maintain contact with line supervisor to submit status report
∎ Any other relevant activities as assigned by the higher management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on data collection in public health research (preference will be given to those having experience in national survey)
∎ Managerial pro?ciency with facilitation, motivation and leadership capacity
∎ Experience in drafting reports/summary report
∎ Basic knowledge on computer application (MS-Office) and using tablet for data collection.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary is Tk. 20,000.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Travel allowance Tk. 4,000.
