Job Context:
∎ Duty station: Projahnmo Zakiganj Upazila Office, Zakiganj, Sylhet.
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure household surveillance of study area by community health workers.
∎ Ensure smooth field implementation of different research studies according to standard protocol.
∎ Arrange and participate in community mobilization activities (ex. meeting with community support groups, stakeholders etc.) for different studies in the assigned study area.
∎ Supervise and monitor Community Health Workers (CHW) activities.
∎ Perform regular visit to field to observe field activities of Community Health Workers to ensure quality of field work and also do some independent interview of study participants to check data quality.
∎ Arrange fortnightly field staff meeting, prepare agenda for the meeting and summarize meetings notes.
∎ Provide support to CHW to solve issues if they have to smoothly implement studies.
∎ Maintain liaison with government and other non-government officials.
∎ Ensure supply of study specific logistics to CHWs and keep record of those.
∎ Perform any other job assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-2 Years of experience in project implementation, monitoring, and field staff supervision
∎ Experience requirement may be flexible for highly qualified candidates.
∎ Competency requirement:
∎ Knowledge of ethical guidelines
∎ Computer skill in MS word, excel and preferably access
∎ Must have valid motorcycle driving license and able to drive effectively.
∎ Additional requirement:

Salary:
∎ 20,046/- per month including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefits.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
∎ All the appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year but may be extended for further period depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
