Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. Its core activities are the socio-economic development of coastal people which is operated through seven thematic areas as Agriculture, Fishery, Dairy and Horticulture; Education, Skills and Youth Development; Conflict Resolution; Climate Change and Disaster; Health and Nutrition; Social Entrepreneurship; Microfinance and Rohingya Education, Protection and Repatriation.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application from potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing CODEC Nature conservation through livelihoods improvements Project funded by a Local Fund from USAID, located at Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
∎ CODEC has planned to implement the Nature conservation through livelihoods improvements (Nature and Life) – Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh under USAID Local Works Bangladesh Activities in the landscape area of Teknaf Wildlife Sanctuary area to restore a heavily degraded forest ecosystem through further strengthen Nishorgo Network – a co-management platform with a vision to conserve forest protected areas and community well-being.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as a primary point of contact to the selected host community households, CMOs/CBOs at Site landscape.
∎ Conduct and coordinate day-to-day field activities for successful implementation of Nature and Life Project’s planned under Component 1 through 4 including cross cutting issues.
∎ Ensure financial and administrative supports for smooth and successful implementation of field activities within stipulated timeframe.
∎ Liaison and communication with different stakeholders at site level.
∎ Ensure all the project activities carry out according to work plan deliverables, following organizational procedures, and with quality.
∎ Plan, organize, and conduct different trainings, workshops and communication and outreach events, etc.
∎ Regular and routine visits at the project sites and CMOs/CBOs.
∎ Ensure and support monitoring the progress of field activities and ensure timely submission of technical reports to the Site Facilitator.
∎ Ensure maintenance of electronic and hardcopy files, documents of project and grantees.
∎ Any other activities as assigned by the supervisory authority.
∎ Working station will be Teknaf, Whykeyong or Shilkhali.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum three-year’s experience in Natural Resource Management fields.
∎ Candidates having experience in MACH, NSP, IPAC, or CREL Project are strongly encourage to apply.
∎ Female Candidates will get preference.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
