Field Officer (02), Humanitarian Operation & Innovation Facility (HOIFA) Project under ToGETHER Project PHALS (Programme for Helpless and Lagged Societies) is a Local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has been started its journey in Cox's Bazar since 1996. Technical supporting by MI under ToGETHER project, at present PHALS is going to implement a project Humanitarian Operation & Innovation Facility (HOIFA) Project , Cox's Bazar District, Bangladesh" from December 15, 2024 .Under this project PHALS is looking for 6 Volunteer to achieve the project's over all outputs through planning, implementing, monitoring, reporting, coordinating with donor, local government, local administration as well as project participants by PHALS supported by Field Officer. Volunteer will be reportable to Project Officer Guidance by Chief Programme Coordinator, Finance and Accounts Officer ToGETHER and Admin and Finance Manager.
Job Responsibilities of Field officer (02) for Cox’s bazar and Pakua :
- Support to Chief of Program Coordinator, developing project implementation strategies and preparing detailed implementation plan (DIP) as per project proposal.
- Assessing the project participants needs, prioritizing the list and finalization with endorsement by local administration.
- Regularly following up and providing necessary assistance the Field Supervisor for cash, household utensils, Ring-slabs other DRR related materials distribution among the project participants.
- Conduct awareness session, art competition, speech competition at school level.
- Regularly maintaining project plans, project activities, budgets and expenditures.
- Ensuring quality the materials/commodities supplied by vendors for project participants.
- Ensuring disbursement, the non-conditional cash distribution, WASH related materials and other household utensils among project participants.
- Ensuring awareness raising activities on DRR and CCA among schools and colleges students.
- Leading and organizing field preparation and facilitation of the donor or others stakeholders field visit.
- Support to Chief Program Coordinator, developing project implementation guidelines, ToR/Concept note and other necessary administration related letter/documents.
- Ensure timely and proper implementation of project activities aligned with project goal and objectives.
- Organizing and facilitating meeting trainings workshop, orientations, dialogues etc. as per organization.
- Establishing communication with stakeholders including service providers, civil society organizations, community level institutions, local government bodies and departments.
- Developing’s project reports as per requirements of donors and counterparts.
- Documenting and following up on important actions n decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings and seminar as project required.
- Supervision, capacity building and monitoring of staff under project.
- Guiding and supervisions of proper and timely implementation of the project activities.
- Prepare the success stories case study and share then to Chief Program Coordinator and Donor.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all d… documentation is maintained appropriately.
- Asses project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with field staff and head office through both verbal and written correspondence.
- Represent PHALS in the deferent meetings of Govt and NGOs in the Upazila level.
- Establish and maintain liaison with relevant government bodies, private, partners, and other stakeholders of the project.
- Timely PR submitting, following up and finance related documents as per project activities.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
