Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse management.

  • Candidates have experience working with INGO will get preference.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse management (preferably in manufacturing, WASH, or livelihood projects).

  • Proficiency of inventory management systems and MS Office particularly in Excel.

  • Excellency in proper documentation.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.

  • Good communication skills in Bengali and English.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities independently under tight schedule



Responsibilities & Context:

Project: Clean Futures Cooperative: A WASH–Livelihoods Model for Refugee and Host Resilience

Duration: 5.5 months (October 16, 2025 to March 31, 2026)

Report to: Accounts Officer & Project Manager.

Job Context

PHALS is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in the field of humanitarian assistance and development since 1996. In this continuation, PHALS is going to implement the Clean Futures Cooperative: A WASH–Livelihoods Model for Refugee and Host Resilience Project in Cox’s Bazar funded by FCDO and supported by IOM. We are seeking a qualified and experienced store Officer who will manage the overall inventory of raw materials, packaging items, soap products, and other supplies required for the Clean Futures Cooperative: A WASH–Livelihoods Model for Refugee and Host Resilience project. The position ensures effective inventory control, proper documentation, and timely distribution of materials to support smooth production and livelihood operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, and products.

  • Receive, check closely, and verify the quality and quantity of goods delivered.

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials and finished products in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.

  • Maintain daily stock registers and inventory control systems.

  • Prepare periodic stock reports, expenditure summaries, and requisition forms.

  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

  • Monitor stock levels and Inform management about stock statues.

  • Support in procurement planning and assist in logistics arrangements.

  • Ensure cleanliness of the store and place the product in disciplinary way and security of the store area.

  • Uphold PHALS’ values, code of conduct, and commitment to safeguarding and PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse).
