Education:
∎ Graduate, preferably Social Science or Diploma in Agriculture background with sufficient experience may also be allow. Statistics / Social Studies / Environmental Science etc. Subjects will be given preference. Subject preference can be relaxed for candidates who can demonstrate knowledge and capability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Primary data collection tools and techniques (survey, FGD, Community meeting etc).
∎ Minimum 1 year preferable; can be relaxed for candidates having good educational background and ability to learn quickly.
∎ Academic and/or work experience related to the field of economics and social research.
∎ Sound knowledge on research methodology and use of ODK, Survey CTO software packages and smart phone-based data collection tools.
∎ Experience in conducting household/farmer/Rohingya camp level survey, community mobilization, stakeholders meeting at Union level, and water sample test (As) etc.
∎ Ability to work closely with team members as well as independently.
∎ Problem solving ability raised in the field time to time.
∎ Willing to work in any location and remote areas as required.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Attend trainings on methodology, data collection tools, community mobilization, farmer group formation and ensure adherence to data collection protocols as described by NGO Forum officials.
∎ Organize union level meeting with stakeholders like local govt. representative, government partners, lead farmers etc.
∎ Organize mobilization meeting with community and farmers at village level and ability to form farmers group for data collection.
∎ Ability to work with Rohingya refugees at camp level.
∎ Carry out data collection through field visits with provided list of respondents as per questionnaire and instructions from supervisor.
∎ Real time data entry through mobile phones in KOBO Toolbox platform.
∎ Perform any other task given by supervisor related to field-based data collection, data entry or data cleaning.
∎ Adhere to all NGO Forum policies and guidelines.
∎ Have to have Smart Phone with following features- Android operating system, 4 GB RAM, 16/32 GB ROM, GPS enabled, working camera and good battery backup.
∎ Bear field expenditure during survey (will be paid after survey at once with per diem through account pay cheque or electronic fund transfer).
∎ No work no payment and no payments will be made until the confirmation of the clean data

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The salary will be BDT 2,000/- per day.
∎

∎ The duration of the contract will be for 60 days.
