Experience:

• 2 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Science
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Development Studies

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Education, or relevant field (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).

• 2 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Age 25 to 45 years

• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in NGOs/INGOs, preferably in community mobilization, awareness, or facilitation roles.

• Previous experience in emergency response, relief distribution (Food and Non-Food Items) and DRR.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills in Bangla (knowledge of English will be an added advantage).

• Ability to maintain good relationships with community members and local stakeholders.

• Experience in data collection, reporting, and documentation.

• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and work directly with communities.

• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and email communication is an advantage.

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and travel frequently to field locations.

Job Context

PHALS is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in the field of humanitarian assistance and development since 1996. In this continuation, PHALS is implementing the TOGETHER 2.0 (HOIFA) Project in Cox’s Bazar funded by GFFO and supported by Malteser International. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Field Facilitator who will play a key role in implementing project activities at the community level, ensuring quality delivery, active participation, and compliance with organizational and donor requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design and implement community-level project activities (sessions, orientation, meetings, campaigns and awareness programs).

• Mobilize community members, ensuring active participation of women, children, elderly and persons with disabilities.

• Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries, community leaders and stakeholders.

• Supervise the accurate and timely data collection and reporting to the line manager.

• Supportive supervision to the Enumerators and Volunteers in field activities.

• Ensure proper documentation (attendance sheets, reports, photos with consent, feedback collection, reporting etc.).

• Monitor community-level challenges, share feedback with supervisors and propose solutions.

• Ensure safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, and organizational policies are followed during all activities.

• Prepare and submit activity reports to the Project Officer on time.
