Job Context:
∎ ASOD is a reputed non-government national organization in Bangladesh working since 1985 and engaged in transforming the lives of community people significantly in selected areas of the country. The existence of ASOD was based on building upon active and spontaneous participation of the extreme poor, ensuring gender equality, social justice, disaster preparedness, productive and sustainable development and protection of the rights of the underprivileged by building a society free from all sorts of exploitation. The organization has implementing multi-dimensional programs like, agriculture, livestock, women empowerment, livelihood, disaster, health and nutrition, Water & Sanitation, non-formal education, resources mobilization, market development,etc.
∎ With the support from Concern Worldwide and funded by ECHO, ASOD is going to implement a project named `Inclusive emergency support to the most affected population of the 2020 monsoon floods in Kurigram and Gaibandha in North-Western BANGLDESH` project in Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha District. The project aims to strengthen the case for recovery the flood lose and damaged in targeted areas. Project will work with local government DMCs and affected communities to implement Food Security and WASH to address the health, hygiene, economical and physical issues for the affected communities.

∎ Job Location: Saghata Upazilla of Gaibandha District
∎ Types of contract: Contractual
∎ Project Duration: 04 months
∎ Job Summary: Field Facilitator is responsible for proper implementation of project activities at field level and reporting to the Project Officer, s/he will identify needs of the project participants and address the needs; s/he will identify the project participants to deliver project support to the targeted project participants; S/he also responsible for make bridging between beneficiaries and different service providers.
∎ Relationships: S/he will report to Project Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct mapping within village identify the targeted project participants
∎ Identify the community water point for further improvement
∎ Assisting baseline survey (collect village and household data)
∎ Identify project participants and sites selection for project supports such as cash grants, WaSH and Hygeni Materials etc.
∎ All record preparation, unconditional cash distribution, select project participants for cash for work.
∎ Supervise cash for work activities, deep tube well and latrine installation
∎ Identify local labor force/communities members the construction latrines & DTW
∎ Provide various kind of awareness raising on DRR, social etc. issues
∎ Mobilize facilitating communities village clean up
∎ Attend events organize by others stakeholder within target villages, communities
∎ Make weekly monthly plan
∎ Prepare monthly report
∎ Perform other tasks assigned by PM suitable needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years' professional experience in relevant field.
Salary:
∎ Gross Salary BDT: 20000.00 (Twenty thousand)
