Employment Status: Full-time, Contractual

Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate, preferably in Agriculture or Soil Science. Graduate from Social Science background with sufficient experience may also be allowed to be tested. Statistics, Demography, Environmental Science etc. subjects will be given preference. Subject preference can be relaxed for candidates who can demonstrate knowledge and capability.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Attend trainings on methodology, approach, data collection tools, and ensure adherence to data collection protocols as described by NGO Forum officials.
∎ Carry out data collection through field visits with provided list of respondents as per questionnaire and instructions from supervisor.
∎ Real time data entrythrough mobile phones in ODK platform using Android based data collection software.
∎ Perform any other task given by supervisor related to field-based data collection, data entry or data cleaning.
∎ Adhere to all NGO Forum policies and guidelines.
∎ Have to have Smart Phone with following features- Android operating system, 4 GB RAM, 16/32 GB ROM, GPS enabled, working camera and good battery backup.
∎ Bear field expenditure during survey (will be paid after survey at once with per diem through account pay cheque or electronic fund transfer).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum1 year preferable; can be relaxed for candidates having good educational background and ability to learn quickly.
∎ Academic and/or work experience related to the field of agriculture economics and social research.
∎ Sound knowledge on research methodology and use of ODK software packages and smart phone based data collection tools.
∎ Experience in conducting household level survey, KII, FGD, Social Map development etc.
∎ Ability to work closely with team members as well as independently.
∎ Problem solving ability raised in the field time to time.
∎ Willing to work in any location and remote areas as required.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.

Salary:
∎ Salary will be per day 2,200 Taka.
