Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering/Fashion Technology/MBA/M.Com from any Public or Reputed Private University in Bangladesh /Abroad.
∎ Good academic background. CGPA below 3.00 need not apply.
∎ Skills Required: Buyer Handling, Communication, Coordination, Garment Marketing, Knit garments, Merchandising, Organization Development/ Process Improvement
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garment Marketing, International Marketing, Merchandising, production management (Cutting), Production Management (Finishing), Production Management (Sewing)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and coordinate every aspect of specific buyers.
∎ Strict maintenance of SOP & TNA of respective customer(s) order.
∎ Responsible for various monthly reporting and variance analysis.
∎ Ensure sustainable measures by improving sales, customer satisfaction, profitability, and productivity.
∎ Review the development packages received from buyers and put the developments into work with product development teams and vendors.
∎ Check all costing for price negotiation with the buyer and then attend price & sample review meetings with the buyer.
∎ Settle all complaints with buyers & suppliers.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastages.
∎ Liaison with the factory for accurate and timely completion of Garments as per the need of the Buyer.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Good Human Integrity
∎ Should have experience in merchandising.
∎ Should have a solid track record of success.
∎ Product knowledge
∎ Excellent communication skills and capacity to build strong working relationships through out the brand/buyers both local & overseas and efficiently work with all levels.
∎ Skilled at finding opportunities for new business.
∎ Need experience of handling World-renowned buyers.
∎ Need the capability to supervise and lead the team.
∎ Good command both in writing and speaking English.
∎ Well versed in computer operation.
Salary: Negotiable
