Job Responsibilities:
∎ Shoulder up full range of day to day production responsibilities and carry out the production planning designated by the group
∎ Manage the operation within agreed KPIs
∎ Provide correct skill set to perform the demands of business and customer
∎ Lead the production team to improve the overall productivity and quality, control cost and reduce production lead-time and maintain a stable workforce
∎ Work closely with HR, Administration, Logistics, IT and all production related departments to enhance the production efficiency and operation environment
∎ Ensure the alignment with the corporate business goals
∎ Implement ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Head Office
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 48 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sharp, number driven. ( Mix of Finance + IE\Production back ground)
∎ Visionary, takes calculated risks to ensure our factory moves in the right direction.
∎ Strong communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Experience in working with Trade Unions – adaptive, motivator and continue to build relationships with the Unions.
∎ Great Team player – strong administrator but a great team builder who empowers his\her teams.
∎ Best if the candidates have both IE experience and IE education. Process engineer is the closest experience which I think is actually better than a pure IE experience because it is broader and includes IE typical tasks.
∎ Minimum 10 years’ experience in garment manufacturers (lingerie or knits) of which at least 5 years in managerial or executive position
∎ Proven track records in managing a large-scale garment manufacturing operation in South Asia
∎ Conversant with production planning, production management and quality control
∎ Knowledge in Lean manufacturing is preferable
∎ Strategic, independent, strong leadership and project management skills with change mindset
∎ Ability to overcome obstacles using positive attitude, teamwork, and influence through building and maintaining relationships.
∎ Fluent spoken and written English, able to speak local language is highly preferable
∎ Stationed in Bangladesh and able to travel occasionally
