Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Gender Studies, Social Work, or a related field. (Educational qualification can be considered for highly experienced person in relevant field)
Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the following position from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing CODEC "Strengthening the protective environment for children through a Comprehensive child protection and GBV response in the Rohingya camps and host communities in Cox’s Bazar” Project funded by UNICEF.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing community-based prevention activities to raise awareness, promote positive behavior change, and reduce risks related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV), child protection and other protection concerns.
Conduct sessions, mobilize communities, and support prevention campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders.
Support implementation of prevention campaigns and community outreach activities.
Assist in implementation of prevention campaigns and community outreach activities.
Conduct life skills and social behavior change communication (SBCC) sessions.
Ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, and culturally sensitive.

Support community-based protection mechanisms.
Timely report submission to the supervisor following referral protocols.
Coordinate with local authorities, schools, community leaders, and service providers.
S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)’s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
