Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree from Textile college / University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 9 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with LeeWrangler regional team for showcase events (like mill week, etc.) this includes inviting mills, product review & selection for presentation for seasonal mill week.
∎ To ensure clear understanding of fabric requirement from LWR HK/US on new fabric development and execute as per SOP.
∎ Lead the process in creating the specific fabric/finish formula and methodology to achieve desired product aesthetic.
∎ Determine development risk potential of new fabric programs and implement procedures to minimize or eliminate risk. Monitor performance trends and develop corrective action plans as needed. Provide technical expertise resulting in timely execution of programs in the field.
∎ Ensure fabric developments are executable in production & develop fabrics which meet LWR JWS quality requirements.
∎ Follow up and monitor the fabric development schedule and action plan to ensure deadlines are met.
∎ Cross development or sourcing of key fabric items for cost & lead time benefit.
∎ Evaluating the fabric mill total capacity & product specific capacity and providing information to relevant teams
∎ Prepare & update seasonal fabric development grid and share with merchandising team
∎ Coaching team of fabric merchandisers and supervises the team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Denim Consumption and construction management as well as denim finishes.
∎ Strong knowledge of denim fabric and its behavior and excellent denim wet and dry processing knowledge.
∎ Strong technical knowledge including Denim Products, Quality and Consumption
∎ Able to work independently and act proactively.
∎ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
∎ Good command of spoken and written English.
∎ Able to communicate effectively with internal functions, vendor's Laundry team.
∎ Confident with 'Can do' attitude.
∎ Good interpersonal skill
∎ Good analytical mind and problem-solving skill.
