∎ Experience in a large Group of Companies involved in Fabric Marketing and Sales.
∎ Person having extensive experience in fabric manufacturing and processing till delivery will be given preference (CANDIDATES WITHOUT HAVING A SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF FABRIC PRODUCTION NEED NOT TO APPLY)
∎ Strong knowledge in quality assurance of Fabrics Must have idea of delivery time required in the manufacturing of different kind of fabrics.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English both written & spoken Very much familiarity with Internet & E-mail.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Promote in house mills, newness, innovation to customers.
∎ Work together with fabric R&D’s for day-to-day developments.
∎ Research and development of new fabric concepts and technologies and propose ideas in accordance to buyer requirements.
∎ Fabric risk assessment.
∎ Optimize fabric development lead times.
∎ Develop and promote new sustainable initiatives in fibres and dyeing/processing.
∎ Close communication with Brands fabric developers, fabric engineers, product developers on day-to-day basis·
∎ Follow up with customers on development submissions and selections·
∎ Working closely with Fabric R&D teams for customers’ requirements with required quality parameters.
∎ Share best price for the fabrics selected / offered to customers·
∎ Price negotiations with buyers for seasonal bookings·
∎ Offer best lead times to customers by doing close coordination with planning and production teams·
∎ Achieve OTD of 95% or more for fabrics with quality·
∎ Close coordination with production team keep plan per buyer requirement·
∎ Give trainings to complete the tasks as per expectations·
∎ Familiar and make the most use of Buyers online portals / PLM·
∎ Conduct 1-on-1 meetings for development with subordinates.
∎ The person will be required to carry out the Fabric Marketing and Sales related Job with Beximco Limited, the world-renowned organization under Beximco Textiles Division, the South-East Asia’s largest vertically integrated Yarn, Fabric (Woven, Knit, Denims) & Garments Manufacturing capacities with state-of-the art set up, which has been supplying a wide range of world-class RMGs to many up-market buyers/brands in the USA and Europe for more than a decade. The incumbent should have the hands-on experience in the following functions:
