• B.Sc/ M.Sc in Textile Engineering.

• Others background candidates can apply who has long experienced in fabric sourcing.

• The candidates must have enough technical knowledge on fabric manufacturing issues.

• Deep understanding and professional experience with Purchasing Contract.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Bengali.

• Excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills.

• Strong market knowledge on different types of Fabrics.

• Excellent negotiation and consulting skills.

• Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.

• Responsible for Fabric identifying, Fabric purchasing knowledge considering buyer demand, Assess factory or well understand about Knitting, Dyeing suppliers process procedure and recommend improvements to ensure in house of fabric on time.

• Effective planning for the fabrics producing process/procedures and negotiating bulk fabric price, giving approvals and advising it to the factory.

• Check fabric quality & consistency against approved hangers at different stages of production and follow-up on sample and bulk fabrics till the completion.

• Collect & check fabric continuity swatches and advise comments or actions, take initiative to improve the quality.

• Source seasonal fabrics based on buyer`s needs & requirements and Responsible for fabrics booking, preparing (Including knitting & Dyeing) and placing order.

• Coordinate with Merchandiser for understanding the requirements of fabrics and responsible for inventory of fabric.

• Maintain liaison with fabric producer for ensuring in-house of fabrics on time.

• Responsible for negotiating with fabric supplier for reason price with better quality.

• Responsible for the management of fabric supplier & randomly visit to the factory for fabric quality selection.

• Source backup suppliers to offset potential delivery, capacity and quality.

• Make TNA to start fabric production (Y/D, Knitting, Dyeing).

• Follow up Fabric delivery Plan.

• Others task as per management instruction.
