∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ Expertise in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP tools).
∎ Analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
∎ Negotiation skills and vendor management experienceKnowledge of logistics, warehousing, procurement, and inventory management.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers.
∎ Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure adherence to agreed terms.
∎ Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality materials.
∎ Oversee the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and effective route planning.
∎ Implement efficient inventory management systems, reducing stockouts and overstock situations.
∎ Implement effective inventory control methods to minimize waste, loss, and shrinkage.
∎ Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, trade laws, and environmental policies.
∎ Implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other supply chain management software to streamline processes.
∎ Develop and manage the budget for the supply chain department, ensuring cost optimization·
∎ Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align supply chain strategies with business needs.
