Experience:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed institution.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed institution.
5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles, preferably in textile or industrial factory settings
Implement and sustain 5S and Kaizen practices to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
Strong knowledge of textile machinery (knitting, dyeing, finishing, batch, laboratory, and utility equipment).
Expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis of equipment malfunctions and implement solutions.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for factory layout planning and machine positioning.
Familiarity with energy-saving projects and efficiency improvement methods.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and execute preventive and proactive scheduled maintenance for knitting, dyeing, finishing, batch, laboratory, and other production machinery to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee the installation, erection, and commissioning of new machinery to support factory expansion and increased production capacity.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective solutions.
Support the shift maintenance team by ensuring the availability of spare parts and raising requisitions for new items to minimize downtime.
Prepare and update machine layout plans using AutoCAD software to optimize factory floor efficiency.
Maintain and prepare detailed engineering documentation in compliance with audit requirements.
Supervise mechanical activities on the production floor, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to workplace safety standards.
Implement and sustain 5S and Kaizen practices to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
Develop and execute energy-saving initiatives, introducing innovative methods to reduce energy consumption across the production floor.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by higher management.
