Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement sustainable chemical management system as per ZDHC chemical management guideline;
∎ Monitor and check that chemical are purchasing according to chemical purchasing policy and manage chemical store as per chemical compatibility chart and also maintain FIFO;
∎ Analyze MSDS with CAS#, GHS pictogram, cross check CAS# in ZDHC MRSL and make sure that chemical and out of 11 priorities banned and restricted groups;
∎ Update Chemical Inventory in monthly basis for process and non process chemicals and upload CIL in CleanChain website;
∎ Collect MSDS or SDS, TDS, REACH, GOTS, Blusign, OEKO TEX100, ZDHC MRSL, RSL and ZDHC positive list and keep them as hard copy in file as well as soft copy;
∎ Conduct local/Bangla MSDS/SDS and label for all chemical in all chemical using area;
∎ Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, dyeing, printing, ETP, spot removing room and all relevant applicable area;
∎ Conduct internal audit for chemical store, prepare audit report with proper guidelines and suggestions and share it with relevant personnel and management for quick action Share RSL & ZDHC MRSL with chemical supplier for ensuring hazard free chemical supply chain;
∎ Prepare corrective action plan as per audit findings and share it to relevant sections for solving those issues as early as possible as required by buyer;
∎ Implement, monitor and execute all necessary action to meet chemical store compliance;
∎ Conduct chemical handling training, PPE training, Emergency chemical spill drill & HIGG related training;
∎ Prepare documentation of HIGG FEM 3.0 self-assessment and Face HIGG FEM 3.0 for 3rd party verification;
∎ Keep empty chemical jars and drums in designated hazardous storage shed;
∎ Monitor and follow-up ETP and guide ETP operator to run ETP smoothly for better performance of ETP;
∎ Maintain and optimize chemical dosing with jar test and minimize costing of ETP running;
∎ Check dosing chemicals quality and quantity regularly and report to assigned person;
∎ Arrange training, workshop for ETP personnel and keep proper training record both hard and soft copy;
∎ Fine tuning/ running of WTP, ETP and daily monitoring the parameters hardness for WTP) and temperature, pH, TDS, TSS, COD, BOD and DO value of the discharge water of ETP);
∎ Capable to run biochemical and biological ETP with maintain MLSS, SVI, F/M ratio, and color test of outlet water and sludge management through filter press running;
∎ Familiar and Capable to run all water testing machine (for pH, DO, COD, BOD5, TSS, TDS color, coliform, spectrophotometer) for regular testing of discharge water parameters;
∎ Collect data and Keep record of water balance for different flow meter and energy data form utility department.
∎ Conduct awareness training of water saving for relevant worker and management level;
∎ Prepare all documents for Higg Index and update time to time;
∎ Conduct ETP wastewater test periodically by DoE (Department of Environment) and Maintain ETP discharge water parameter according to DoE and ZDHC guideline;
∎ Apply and Renewal of ECC, CPP yearly basis from DoE and maintain close communication with DoE;
∎ Communication with nominated third party lab and concerned buyer regarding ZDHC waste water test and follow up report uploading in ZDHC gateway and IPE Detox platform;
∎ Regular checking all machine of ETP ( pumps, blower and Moto) that are running without any mechanical problem and take necessary action if required any maintenance;
∎ Any other task assign by management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Must have thorough and proven knowledge on chemical management;
∎ Good communication skill;
∎ Able to work independently & should be result driven.

Salary: Negotiable
