Responsibilities & Context:

Mariners Group is strengthening its Brand Visualizing with a focus on high-impact FMCG branding and print packaging excellence. The Executive / Assistant Manager – Graphic Designer will play a key role in translating brand strategy into compelling visual assets that drive market presence and consumer engagement.

This role requires close collaboration with marketing, sales, product, and print vendors to ensure flawless execution across all print and packaging touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop FMCG packaging artworks, including labels, cartons, pouches, boxes, and wrappers

  • Create high-quality brochures, leaflets, catalogs, posters, POSM, and trade marketing materials

  • Ensure all designs strictly follow brand guidelines and FMCG compliance standards

  • Prepare print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in dielines, bleed, resolution, and color profiles

  • Coordinate with printers and vendors to maintain output quality and cost efficiency

  • Revise and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and market requirements

  • Maintain visual consistency across all offline and online brand materials

  • Stay updated with print trends, packaging innovations, materials, and finishing techniques

  • Stay updated on design trends, AI-generated visuals, animation tools, and emerging technologies to enhance creative execution.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in FMCG print packaging design

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:

    • Photoshop (must)

    • Illustrator (must)

    • Premiere Pro (added advantage)

  • Excellent understanding of:

    • Print-ready artwork preparation

    • Color management, dielines, and packaging specs

    • Brochure, leaflet, catalog, POSM, and other print materials

  • Strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and brand consistency

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines

  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Graphic Design / Visual Arts
    or

  • Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in any discipline with equivalent professional skillset and high-level expertise in Graphic Design

  • Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A) (Preferred)
