Education:
- BSc. Ag (Hons) with MS in Agronomy, Crop Botany, Seed Technology, and Genetics and Plant Breeding from reputed Agricultural Universities.
- MS in Seed Technology may add an additional advantage.

Required Experiences: Minimum 2-3 years of experiences may be added advantage in the field of Hybrid Rice Seed Quality Control
Responsibilities & Context:
Location: Seed Production site and/ Seed Processing Center, Trishal, Mymensingh.
Responsibilities at SPC site:
- Receive pre-cleaned seed from the field and random sampling of the seeds from the truck
- Prepare composite sample and seed purity analysis
- Check moisture % of pre-cleaned seed; accept or reject the seed
- Monitor grading activities and stored graded seed at the DH storage
- Assist fumigation activities of the stored seed once in a two months
- Checking Temperature and RH daily basis and stored data for future reference
- Purity analysis of stored seed as per lot or as per block
- Taking samples from stored seeds and conduct germination test and compile report
- Taking samples of parental seeds which is imported from principal company and conduct Purity analysis as well as germination test
- Keeping all records for future reference
Responsibilities at the Field:
- Verify seed production block at the location and give NOC in block selection process
- Verify Seed block and seedbed plot before land preparation and remove shaded rice from the seedbed (if any)
- Monitor seed soaking and sprouting activities
- Regular visit seedbed to check seedling health and assist rouging activities before transplanting
- Day to day Field monitoring from ploughing to seed harvest
- Monitoring all Seed blocks activities to oversee removal activities of weed and off types
- Strictly monitoring R Line removal activities until harvest
- Monitoring rouging activities until harvest
- Field Inspection of individual plot before harvest and give NOC
- Monitor post-harvest activities at Pacca Chatal and assist manager
