Additional Requirements: • Prior working experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) in the FMCG/ Frozen Industry will be preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with local vendors to obtain best price.
• Good knowledge of local markets.
• Proven ability to work as team member, manage complex operations, and deliver results under pressure.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and production planning tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities & Context: - Collect quotations from suppliers, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and finalize purchase orders.
- Conduct market surveys to stay updated on product pricing and availability.
- Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Source and enlist new vendors while ensuring complete documentation and proper integration into ERP software.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Obtain necessary approvals for procurement activities and contract agreements.
- Monitor and track order status, ensuring timely delivery and resolving delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of purchased products, delivery schedules, invoices, and payment status.
- Coordinate with store/inventory personnel to ensure proper receiving and storage of goods.
- Assist the Line Manager with any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
