Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ All capital machineries and spare parts of DIRD Group Head Office & Factories. Which involves-
∎ Filtering new Purchase Requisitions raised from above mentioned concerns and sorting them based on product and prioritizing based on urgency.
∎ Negotiating with vendors to get favorable price and comparing offers of different vendors, to come up with one that matches best with customers' requirement.
∎ Communicate and follow up all TT/LC to commercial department until products are in house at our factory.
∎ Generating purchase order and follow-up deliveries.
∎ Communicate with store for GRN, of in housing products.
∎ Making the suppliers understand DIRD Group product requirements.
∎ Maintaining liaison with vendors and internal stakeholder to address ongoing issues.
∎ Developing new vendors through market visit about different machine & machine spare parts as and when necessary.
∎ Execute purchase research, analysis of supplier's price hike claim, backward integration etc.
∎ Keeping records of each and every important documents related with the entire procurement process.
∎ Liaise with various departments particularly with accounts, commercials, maintenance and store.
∎ Submission of bills to Account Department for adjustment.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by department head/management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in local purchase will be an added advantage but fresher with high integrity can apply
∎ Purchase Executive's primary responsibility is to purchase right quality, quantity of materials & supplies at responsible prices at the right time. S/he will be responsible for purchases on behalf of all the depts.
∎ S/he should be a person of undoubted integrity, honesty, initiative and good conscience.
∎ S/he should at least be a commerce graduate. Experience in Supply Chain Management, any Certificate / diploma course in Purchase Management will get preference.
∎ S/he should have complete information about the material which is required to purchase, so that requisite quantity of materials may be purchased at reasonable price from reliable suppliers.
∎ S/he should maintain proper documents like price list, catalogue, trade, journals to help him in finding out best possible market.
∎ S/he should have up-to-date knowledge of import & export, tax assessments etc.
∎ S/he should be tactful in maintaining sound & friendly relation with his supplier.
∎ S/he should work honestly for the interest of the organization as a whole.
