Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implement production plans and ensure achievement of daily targets
∎ Assist line manager in adjusting and executing production schedules as needed
∎ Prepare printing plates in accordance with job specifications and timelines
∎ Operate plate-making equipment (CTP, exposure units, developing machines, etc.) safely and efficiently
∎ Ensure consistent production of quality output to meet production goals
∎ Monitor production parameters, materials, checklists, and work environment
∎ Maintain adherence to quality control standards and SOPs
∎ Allocate tasks across the section as per shift schedule
∎ Carry out daily operations in ERP software and maintain accurate records
∎ Prepare and submit daily production reports to the Shift In-Charge
∎ Collect and process information from all relevant sources to support decision-making
∎ Identify operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions
∎ Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain accurate documentation
∎ Promote and maintain a safe, clean work environment through education and enforcement of safety protocols
∎ Manage and supervise production shifts, ensuring smooth handovers
∎ Track employee attendance and hours worked accurately
∎ Actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
